Custom assemblies with HKS BOV.

Below we have the HKS BOV mounted in different locations. The Red is going to re-circulate back to the HKS RS AL intake tube. It also has a AIT (air inlet temp) bung on it. The Purple is a JDM version which does not have a AIT bung. The fitting pictured is actually a EGR fitting.

Below is the Red w/HKS BOV that we are going to re-circulate back to the HKS RS intake pipe. When you guys choose to go with the custom colors. One of the benefits is we allow you to send in additional parts to get color matched. Since most of time you will not exceed the minimum set charges the powder coater and anodizers have. There is actually a strut bar which goes with these pipes not pictured here.

You fellas need to be more clear on the sales site about these pipes and specify that they are for the stock bov only Sad

cause i really dont see how any bov will fit in there ( about 3 inches from the tranny case).

I purchased the full IC kit last week along with an HKS BOV and the mini battery kit and now im having a real hard time trying to get this bov mounted using hoses.

Is there any way i can exchange the one have for the HKS bracketed one?

Milton,

I apologize for any inconvenience you have encountered. If I'm not mistaken, we do not have the pipe kit listed on any of the Nisei websites. For now I'm going to assume you are speaking of MyEvoStore.com or MotionGarage.com.

I'm also going to assume you have the HKS BOV. HKS actually has 2 difference systems they sell for the Evo.

System 1 - SSQ venting to atmosphere.

System 2 - SSQ with re-circulation kit.

As you can see from the above pictures these SSQ valves are top mounts, which are running what I call system 1. The above kits are considered special order / custom.

What I am curious to know is if you ordered it from MotionGarage.com? If so, did you order it on the website or did you speak to someone directly? Knowing what type of BOV you were running would have been important to know at the time of receiving the order. We did design the pipe kit to retrofit to stock. All Nisei Engineering production pipe kits are produced to work with stock components. Anything thing outside of stock (BOV valve that doesn't retro back to OEM fit/location) is considered custom, which are made to order.
