This is basically for those who don't get to see the FMIC's side by side before making their purchases.

The AMS (Left Side), Nisei Engineering (Middle), & BR FMIC (Right Side), we took in the AMS & BR FMIC's as up sells. These cores of course are "used" which, would explain the broken mounting bracket on the BR.

Nisei Engineering FMIC (Below)

Top view : Nisei (top), AMS (middle), BR (bottom).

The BR cores are easy to spot because the inlet pipe is attached to the core.

* Inlet - Nisei & AMS 2 1/2" diameter, BR 2 1/4" diameter.
Note: most inlet pipe kits / lowers of today are 2 1/2" diameter, the BR is 2 1/4" diameter. The stock inlet pipe starts at 44mm (1 3/4" dia) and transitions to 63mm (2 31/64")

* The outlets of all 3 are 2 1/2" diameter.

* Core thickness - All three units 3 1/2"

* Tube Length - Nisei (25"L) , AMS (20"L), BR (24"L)

* Stack Height - Nisei (12.62"), AMS (12.4"), BR (10.5")

* Surface Area - Nisei (315.5"), AMS (248"), BR (252")
