As you can clearly see from the above photo we're running with large filter element. One of the keys for us is to increase the "surface area" of the element to allow the intake & turbo to be able to draw as much air as needed without struggling to breath or being choked. This happens to be one of several elements we're testing.
Next, we've decided the factory BOV return hose was one of the ugliest parts in the engine bay so, we cleaned it up! We've given it the Nisei Engineering touch by going stealth. Also, we thought it was better to keep the BOV mounted closest to the charge pipe for faster BOV valve response. Instead of all the way by the turbocharger suction pipe which might contribute to lag due to the lengthily factory hose. Check out the photo below:
Now, what is a intake system without it's very own "true" velocity stack to help promote laminar flow and increase overall response, torque & power through the midrange. Also, the intake kit does work with the factory LICP or the Nisei Engineering LICP.
The answer is yes, the above photos do contain the Nisei Engineering LICP as well which will work with the stock air box, mount back to the factory locations as well.
Stay tuned the testing and production parts will be available soon!

Hey guys, we've been pretty busy lately so sorry we didn't get this up earlier! Enjoy!
Quick look at the Matte Black pipes outside of the vehicle.
Fresh from the coaters!
